The Mt. Pleasant Passion Play is a musical production portraying segments from the life and ministry of Christ; the betrayal, crucifixion and
resurrection as told in the Bible. 

The first year of the play was in 2008 and it has since become an annual event that is attended by an average of 2000 people a year. 

The cast, choir, and crew are made up entirely of talented volunteers from the congregation of Mt. Pleasant Baptist. The Mt. Pleasant Passion Play is a ticketed, free community event.
