Is Mt. Pleasant Baptist a Large Church?

It's a matter of perspective.  People who grew up in country churches may think that Mt. Pleasant seems large.  People who come from large cities may think Mt. Pleasant seems small. The fact is that Mt. Pleasant is larger than the average Southern Baptist Church.

Mt. Pleasant is large enough to offer very good youth and music programs, and they are improving all the time.  We have excellent leadership with our ministerial staff.  We now have a new vision statement: Proclaiming, Teaching, Reaching for Christ.  We are large enough to provide Sunday School classes with people your own age.  You may also discover that Mt. Pleasant is small enough too.  You can't just attend morning worship service and feel like you know everyone.  Our members will tell you that the two keys are to get involved in a Sunday School class and to attend evening services on Wednesday too.  At night, fellowship seems warmer, you find out what's going on, and you feel like a member of the family.
