Online Giving!!

We are excited to announce a new way you can give to the Lord's work here at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church.  We are pleased to tell you about our ability to give via the internet online.  Many churches across America are offering this fast and convenient way of giving.  We certainly want to be in that number in making it easier for us as well.  Via our financial software called LOGOS, we have a module that allows online giving.  Below you will find the instructions and the website link for you to be able to give.  But before you check it out, you need to know the advantages:
 
 
  • You can prioritize giving in your budget. The Bible indicates giving is to be a "first" and not a last or leftover matter in your life. Read Proverbs 3:9-10. It is easy to let our standards and intentions be compromised by the press of expenses and billing cycles.
     
  • You can increase your faithfulness. Have you ever forgotten your gift, left it at home or pledged to double it in the future? Have you had times where you have fallen behind because of travel and other schedule interruptions? Online giving provides a way to strengthen your faithfulness.
     
  • You can help your church. Through online giving, you expedite your gift, simplify our accounting, and strengthen our base of regular support.
     
  • You can encourage faith and faithfulness in the lives of fellow believers. As you plan and prioritize your giving, you will lead the way for others to grow and mature in their spiritual stewardship. Being a forerunner in this new area of planned giving, you can provide personal testimony and example for others to follow.
  • It's fast, easy and convenient
  • It's secure.  You set-up your own login name and password that is known only by you
  • Your giving record is secure.  No one sees your giving except you and our financial office (just like when you give via the offering plate)
  • You can see what your total giving is for the year at any time online.  Even if you give via the offering plate from time to time, those totals will be updated automatically (typically on a weekly basis) and added to your giving online via our LOGOS computer system.  Therefore, you will have a complete record of your giving to MPBC online
  • You can give via a draft from your bank account
  • You can give from anywhere you have access to a computer (even while on vacation or on a business trip)
  • You can set-up a specific amount to be drafted out each week or each month  and not have to worry about writing checks
